During senior Nicole Beckmann’s four years of sports, she has received 14 varsity letters. Two from bowling, and four each from cross country, track, and lacrosse.

Beckmann is a driven athlete and she truly values the bond with the team.

“No one does cross country for the running. Everyone does it just for the team,” Beckmann said.

Cross country coach John Wojciakowski has seen Beckmann improve over the years.

“I feel as if the young runners look up to Nicole and have a great deal of respect for her. If they follow the model she has set, they are going to be on track for success,” Wojciakowski said.

Beckmann has worked relentlessly for her letters and will graduate high school with a few more under her belt then the average high school athlete.

Beckmann hopes to continue her athletic career as a coach for youth track or lacrosse after she graduates.

“She is a true Wildcat,” Wojciakowski said.
