After falling behind Godwin Heights in the first two quarters, the Wildcats managed to pull out victorious, winning Friday night’s game 77-69.

Northview’s varsity boys basketball team played and beat the Godwin Heights Wolverines, continuing their undefeated streak.

After the first quarter, the home team was behind 17-9. Godwin also won the second quarter 22-14. At half time it wasn’t looking promising for Northview, as they were behind 39-23.

In the third quarter, however, the Cats blew Godwin out of the water, 27-6. The fourth quarter was again a loss, however much closer at 17-22.

Number 5, Cody Tierney, was the highest scoring player for Northview, scoring a total of 20 points for the Wildcats.

In the end, the Godwin Heights Wolverines couldn’t beat Northview. It was a good day in Wildcat territory.
