Northview’s boys varsity basketball team played in a seat clincher versus the Wyoming Wolves.

The game took 6 periods of play, going into a double overtime period. Northview eventually secured the victory in the final minutes.

With the help of 60% field goal shooting and 16 points in overtime, Northview was able to keep the Wolves from only scoring 13 in overtime.

Northview also crashed the offensive and defensive glass during this game with Kaden Boucher grabbing 2 offensive boards and 7 defensive boards. Wyoming did not go out without a fight, only falling 3 points short of Northview’s 87.

But Wyoming player M. McGee was not playing games versus Northview. He dropped 37 points, 6 assists, 3 steals, 3 rebounds, and showed off his range by making 5 shots from behind the arch.

Seniors Cody Tierney and Donovan Richardson showed off as a dynamic duo by combining for 44 of their team’s 87 points.

Despite Wyoming’s performance, the Wildcats were able to secure the victory, and improve to 4-0 on the season. These Wildcats are not playing games.
