Matt Howe
Adviser
Matt Howe is a lifelong Wildcat serving his four tour of duty as adviser of The Roar. He teaches history, english, yearbook, child and human development, creative writing and journalism classes at the high school and is head of the social studies department. He also coaches tennis and swimming. In his spare time, it's all about family, friends, good eats and the great outdoors. He loves a competition of anything and hungers to stay active.
Brooke Gunderson
Editor in Cheif, Social Media Manager
Brooke Gunderson is a senior who has been a staff-writer since her freshman year. She is a second-year co-editor and first-year Editor in Cheif as well as social media manager for The Roar. In her free time, she works a part-time job and enjoys hanging out with friends. Brooke plans to pursue Elementary Education with a concentration in Environmental Science.
Riley Snyder

Riley Snyder is a junior and a second-year staff writer. She is a member of National Honor Society, Student Council, the Green team, and plays tennis in the spring. In her free time she enjoys volunteering, spending time with friends and reading.
Jaden Bozek

Jaden Bozek is a senior and fourth-year journalism student. He participates in marching band as well as varsity baseball and football. He is excited to meet others through The Roar and plans to pursue Sports Broadcasting in the future.

Lilah Purucker is a senior and third-year staff writer for The Roar. She is a member of the National Honor Society and SADD. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, trying new foods and spending time with friends and family.

Morgan Velzen is a junior and has been a writer for the Roar since the beginning of this year. He is a brand new Northview student. In his free time, he works a part-time job, and plans to go into trades after high school.

Zach Fassler is a first-year journalism student, acting as a writer and cartoonist for the Roar. He is also a varsity wrestler and acts in the school musicals and plays. In his free time, he enjoys reading, sculpting, and drawing.

Irie Bruderer is a sophomore who has been in The Roar since the beginning of 2024-2025 school year. She is a part of track as a sprinter and a singer in Bella Voce. In her free time, she enjoys reading new books, listening to music, going to new cafes, and traveling around.

Noah Preston is a junior and second-year staff member. In his free time, he is often found at one of his three jobs or Frontline Community Church. Noah enjoys playing basketball, playing piano, working out, and hanging out with his friends. After high school, Noah plans to pursue his Masters of Divinity at Moody Bible College in Chicago to one day seek a career in ministry.
