Spring Break starts on March 30 and although 10 days of relaxation sounds ideal, eventually, it will likely become a bit boring for those who are staying home this year. Besides, a Staycation just isn’t complete without a bucket list of activities to do throughout the week.
#10: Movie Marathon
An easy last minute activity is a movie marathon. It would be great to kick off break, wrap it up, or any day in the middle where you just want to take a lazy day.
#9: A trampoline park
A nostalgic activity but also perfect for spur of the moment plans with friends.
#8: Frederik Meijer Gardens
An activity that is a local tradition is going to see the butterflies because it never gets old even as you get older.
#7: Craig’s Cruisers
Craig’s Cruisers just recently added onto their building with more activities, on top of laser tag, go karts and bumper boats, there is now a trampoline park and and ninja course.
#6: Blandford Nature Center
On when you just want to get outside, Blandford has numerous planned activities but there are also options for self-led tours any time they are open.
#5: A Whitecaps game
The Whitecaps is a West Michigan tradition and perfect for spring break as their season is just starting and there are a few games throughout the week of spring break.
#4: The zoo
Spring break weather is also perfect zoo weather, it would be even more enjoyable as a family activity.
#3: Cat cafe
A cat cafe just recently opened up downtown, although it will probably be hard to stop spending time with a bunch of cats (unless you happen to be allergic).
#2: An escape room
An escape room is perfect for bonding, a group directs themselves through a room full of puzzles to try and get out before the time runs out.
#1: A day trip to a nearby town
A staycation doesn’t mean you have to stay within your city limits, an hour long drive isn’t to bad if you pick a city that’s worth the drive in the morning and back at night. Great for a shopping trip or to just enjoy the weather.
