Headphones Everywhere: The Rise of Music in Northview Halls

It’s no secret that students enjoy listening to music throughout the day. Headphones can be seen in everyone’s ear while traveling to another class, but the music behind the headphones is masked. This mystery sparks curiosity about what music is trending with the current generation. To find out, the Roar staff writer Makenzie Fox surveyed the high school via a Google Form posted on the Roar Instagram. Fox also went around the school asking students directly about their music preferences by questioning how long they listened to music during the school day, and what genre of music they listened to the most. The results of the data collected can be found in the graphic below.
