On Wednesday afternoon the high schools choir room was filled with the buzzing of nerves and chatter of excitement as students gathered for the “Mean Girls” audition workshop. A space created by choir director, Jack Phillipson, and director Matt McKay, to help performers shape their final decisions on music, monologues, and prepare the confidence it take to audition for a musical. As they approach the weeks getting closer to final auditions students of all different talents can be found spread throughout the performing arts center to create, sing, and step into their spotlight.
