Editor Victoria Witke sits down with senior Emily Hyde, the president of the high school female empowerment club, Rise Up (previously known as Women Up). Victoria Witke is a senior, third year journalism student and first year editor of The Roar. She runs cross country and is a member of the National Honor Society and Rise Up. Outside of school, she enjoys listening to music, being outdoors and spending time with friends. Next year, she intends on double majoring in Journalism and English at Michigan State University. Victoria looks forward to her position as editor and to see what voices it brings out in the community.
