Edin Vlogs

With 190 YouTube subscribers and his own line of merchandise, senior Edin Mehanovic is the face of “Edin Vlogs.”

Mehanovic’s videos include challenges, staged fights, storytimes and more. He gives credit to his manager, fellow senior Cody Thornell, for starting and maintaining his channel over the past few months.

“We both have access to the account. He films most of the time for me and gives me ideas for videos,” Mehanovic said.

In addition to the videos, merchandise is available to purchase on any of his multiple websites. Pictures of his face can be seen on t-shirts, greeting cards, clocks and essentially any other item you can think of. Mehanovic tries to recognize his fans if he sees them wearing his merchandise at school.

“If I see them and haven’t taken a picture with them before, I’ll take a picture with them,” Mehanovic said.

Although anyone can buy the merchandise, Mehanovic didn’t expect that people he doesn’t even know in real life would be buying it.

“It’s extremely weird [seeing people I don’t know wearing my merch]. It’s happened more times than I thought was possible,” Mehanovic said.

Although now he is well known for this channel, according to Thornell, the entire concept of “Edin Vlogs” started as a joke.

“I just recorded him and [his friend] Nathan ‘fighting.’ Originally I submitted it to World Star [website] but then they never replied,” Thornell said.

Thornell deciding to post this video on YouTube was the start of the Edin Vlogs journey.

Although Mehanovic isn’t sure if he will continue making content after high school, he assured fans that he will continue for the duration of the school year.
