12 days of donating

The holidays are a great time for donating. Northview students have created many opportunities for their peers to give back to their community.

This article won honorable mention in the 2022 Michigan Interscholastic Press Association spring awards ceremony.

Even as the community is starting to get back to normal due to COVID and everything that came with it, some people could still use the holiday cheer and feelings of generosity and kindness that follow.

A great way to spread that joy is to donate back to the community. There are plentiful charities, nonprofit organizations, and volunteer options near Northview, so here is a condensed list of organizations that could use your help.

Please remember, although there are many official donation sites and stores, the school also has driven students putting together donation opportunities in the community. Don’t forget to check them out and help out our student leaders.

Happy Holidays!
