With the holidays right around the corner, our staff at the highschool eagerly jumped into the festive spirit, and also, school spirit! An email went out on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 to all the teachers stating, “The holiday door decorating contest can begin at any time. Doors will be judged on December 15th.”
The doors were decorated by each teacher’s first hour class. Many teachers urged their students to help them decorate, some teachers choose to include their other hours and even other students around the building. Bringing together the school was a main focus in this friendly holiday competition. In the scoresheet given out to the teachers, school spirit was a category in the scoring. Everyone found their own unique way to show off our community and the end result was a variety of colorful decorations and hallways filled to the brim with cheer.
