It was a tough night for the boys’ varsity basketball team as they took on the strong and undefeated Forest Hills Northern team.
The Cats took the lead in the first quarter 19-11 but fell short in the second only scoring four points to Northern’s 23 points. The game went neck and neck with both teams scoring points in the third and fourth quarters.
Senior Cody Tierney led with 27 points and five boards, yet it just wasn’t enough to pull his team away.
The Wildcats lost 53-64. They’re now 5-1 in the conference and 9-3 overall.
