Five teams competed in the OK White Girls Varsity Cheer conference meet that was hosted at the high school on February 6. There were three rounds, each round including one performance that showcases the teams’ skills, tumbling, and stunts.

The first round was the closest of all three with only 58.6 points separating the leading team from the lowest scoring team. After the second round every team had a shot at the win as the points continued to be close.

Moving into the third round Cedar Springs was leading the competition. They continued to dominate and pulled out the win with a total of 755.26 points. Forest Hills Central finished behind Cedar by 55.2 points. Forest Hills Northern, Lowell, and Northview finished in third, fourth, and fifth, respectively.
