The West Michigan College Fair is approaching.

The last in-person West Michigan college fair was canceled in April of 2019. But with no mask requirements  and tons of colleges to discover, it’s back and better than ever.

“Every student is at a different point regarding their next step after high school and the college fair is a great place to meet with college reps from over 150 colleges in one place,” Department head and Counselor Sarah Gammans said.

This year, the West Michigan College Fair will be held on March 28 from 8:30 a.m to 11:30 a.m and then 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m, located at the Devos Place Conference Center.

Attending the College Fair can connect students directly with admission representatives from colleges and universities across the country.

“Each year we take students to the college fair, many students have reported finding colleges, programs and majors they had never heard of, with some students applying and going to one of those institutions,” Gammans said. “It’s also a great way to ask the college’s reps questions regarding your senior year classes or admissions related questions.

During the experience, individuals can discover possible academic future options, acquire answers to unanswered questions and collect information needed to narrow down the decision.

Students can sign up now through their Naviance Student account under the “college” tab or “college visits”.
